Export of wooden pallets

When exporting wooden packaging material to countries that have adopted the ISMP15 standard it is important to ensure that your wooden packaging material is made by a company that has been permitted and certified by the Icelandic Food and Veterinary Authority (MAST). This means that the wood packaging material (including pallets and dunnage) has been heat treated and specially marked to show that the wood has been treated against pest that could have harmful effects on plant health and forestry.
